Apple has just released the fifth beta of OS X El Capitan. The beta comes just six days after Apple had released the fourth beta of the OS, which was followed by a public beta release.

OS X El Capitan brings with it some major performance and graphical improvements that will lead to significantly better performance in day-to-day usage of the OS. It also brings Apple’s renowned Metal API to Mac allowing developers to create more graphically rich games for the OS. It also features a new and improved Spotlight, a split view feature that will allow you to run two full-screen apps at once, an enhanced Mail app, and lots more.
It is not clear what’s new in the fifth beta of OS X El Capitan yet, but it is likely to bring with it more bug fixes and performance improvements, and further add polish to the OS before its release later this fall.
